Rebecca Zarzecki


Since joining the bar in 2005, Ms. Zarzecki has concentrated her practice on family law, business disputes and general trial work with some estate planning.  Having over 20 years of experience in litigation, Ms. Zarzecki's rounded view of the law gives her clients an advantage in anticipating other areas of conflict and avoiding problems down the road.  Ms. Zarzecki has handled hundreds of evidentiary hearings and trials in her tenure, focused on not only immediate results, but long-term success as well.  In addition to litigation, Ms. Zarzecki routinely negotiates emotional and highly charged situations to final settlement with efficiency - achieving beneficial results.  

Ms. Zarzecki began her legal career in 1996 with a small insurance defense firm in the Chicago Loop.  She supported trial firms in primarily insurance defense, medical malpractice and construction liability for nine years as a paralegal and legal assistant.  Ms. Zarzecki attended the John Marshall Law School evening program while working full time in this role.  She was selected to represent The John Marshall Law School in the prestigious National Competition, and served as Associate Justice on the Moot Court Counsel.      

Ms. Zarzecki recently celebrated 10 years in running her own business, and has now had published opinions by both a Supreme Court Rule 23 opinion by the First District Court of Appeals, Jaskula v. Dybka 2017 IL App (1st) 160014-U and
Second District Court of Appeals, In Re Milne, 2018 IL App (2d) 180091. She continues to fight for her clients on a daily basis in trials, evidentiary hearings and court appearances.

​Ms. Zarzecki has been married for over 20 years and has two children.
